Champignon mushroom is also known as the common white button mushroom (Agaricus bisporos). Champex®, a patented, proprietary extract of champignon, has been concentrated to contain a wide range of odor-fighting constituents, including amino acids, polyphenols, and polysaccharides.* It neutralizes or captures substances such as ammonia, indole, mercaptan, hydrogen sulfate, and amine, which are produced when protein decomposes in the intestines and the blood.*
