Inflammation is a normal, helpful part of immune response. However, it can go overboard — ultimately doing more harm than good. Curcumin, the active constituent of turmeric, is one of the most promising ingredients for promoting a healthy inflammation response.*
Animal research suggests curcumin has the ability to modulate cytokines — chemical messengers that, in small amounts, can coordinate an immune response, but in large amounts, can create an immune overreaction.*
In addition to providing support for short-term immune challenges, curcumin also has long-term benefits, such as decreasing oxidative stress and supporting healthy aging.*

Curcumin-SR features MicroCurcumin™, which delivers curcumin in a special micronized, sustained-release matrix. Not only does the MicroCurcumin Complex have 10x better bioavailability than regular curcumin, the curcumin is released over 12 hours. That means it stays in the blood longer – and is therefore active longer.
Q: What solvent is used in the extraction of the curcumin used in Curcumin-SR?
A: The curcumin used in our Curcumin-SR formula is an organic curcumin that is extracted with ethanol. For more information, please visit: www.realorganiccurcumin.com
Q: How long does the curcumin in this product stay in your system?
A: MicroCurcumin provides a 12 hour multi-staged sustained release into the body.
Q: Is it possible for the polymers in the formula to bio accumulate over time?
A: The polymers like HPMC are not absorbed by the system. HPMC is a soluble fiber that is also not fermentable by the colon bacteria. Beta cyclodextrin is also not absorbed from the stomach and small intestines. It can be broken down by the enzyme amylase to form open chain sugars and glucose. Carnuaba wax is highly insoluble and is not absorbed. So, all the polymers are eliminated from the GI tract, no chance of bioaccumulation.
