Yoga Poses for Kidney Health

Since we are talking all things kidney health this month, we thought it would be a good idea to share with you some yoga poses that may promote kidney health!

Practicing yoga stimulates and massages various organs that help your body function in optimal condition. Yoga also is known to control the stress level of your body and mind. The following poses are

known to offer benefits for your kidneys and overall health!

Sphinx Pose

The sphinx pose stretches and strengthens the abdominal organs. This pose is also known to help with immunity.

Two-Legged Forward Bend

The two-legged forward bend stimulates the kidney, improves digestion, and helps relieve menstrual discomfort.

Bridge Pose

The bridge pose stimulates the abdominal organs. It also may help the body to keep blood pressure levels within a normal range and relieve the body of stress.

 

 Sitting Half Spinal Twist

This pose stimulates the kidneys and liver.

Cobra Pose

The cobra pose stimulates the abdominal organs and helps to relieve the body of stress and fatigue.

Boat Pose

The boat pose strengthens and stimulates the abdominal organs. It helps improve digestion and alleviates stress.
