Most anti-stress products work by sedating the central nervous system, causing drowsiness and impairing mental function. Serenelle® helps you de-stress while increasing your energy and focus.*

Relesse™ is a patented lemon balm extract. A double-blind, placebo-controlled human clinical trial found lemon balm effective for improving stress-induced negative mood.* It works by decreasing levels of the stress hormone cortisol and increasing levels of the calming neurotransmitter GABA.*
Ashwagandha, also known as Indian ginseng or winter cherry, is a flowering shrub native to India and Nepal whose root is used in Ayurvedic medicine. Sensoril® is a proprietary extract of ashwagandha. Double-blind, placebo-controlled human clinical research has shown Sensoril reduces symptoms of occasional stress, such as anxiety and fatigue, by reducing levels of the stress hormone cortisol and increasing levels of the energizing hormone DHEA.*
L-theanine is an amino acid found in tea leaves, particularly green tea. It has been clinically shown to prevent over-stimulation and produce a state of relaxed alertness by producing calming alpha brain waves.* L-theanine works by raising levels of several inhibitory neurotransmitters, including serotonin and GABA, and by preventing L-glutamic acid, an excitatory neurotransmitter, from binding to receptors.*
GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter, meaning it has a calming effect on the brain.* But rather than acting as a sedative, GABA has been clinically shown to induce a state of relaxed alertness by increasing the production of lower-frequency alpha brain waves and decreasing the production of nerve-jangling beta waves.* Natural PharmaGABA is more bioavailable than synthetic GABA, possibly because it is better able to cross the blood-brain barrier.*
Q: Can you take Serenelle while taking antidepressants?
A: For Serenelle it is unlikely that there would be any problem with SSRI's (Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors). One study shows an indirect pathway for Ashwaganda (Sensoril) increasing serotonin via a cholineacetyltransferase pathway in the hippocampus of the brain. However, we do recommend consulting with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns with other medications you are taking.
Q: What is the difference between synthetic GABA and PharmaGABA?
A: The differences are vast. PharmaGABA is produced naturally with proven safety and efficacy. Synthetic GABA is produced from various toxic chemicals including succinimide, piperylurethan and fuming nitric acid, N-(β-bromoethyl) phthalimide and sodiomalonic ester, and γ-chlorobutyronitrile and potassium phthalimide. These compounds are regarded as noxious substances and thus prohibited to use in foods in many countries. The PharmaGABA used in our Serenelle formula is approved for food use in many countries and is both safe and effective.
Q: What is the difference between all your mood products?
A: Our three mood support products are Positelle, Sernelle and Serotonin. All of which offer separate benefits:
